5/12/2022 - Stop Speeders with Email Reporting

/images/Stop%20Speeders%202002%20(2)

Canton values the public's input and cooperation to enhance community safety.  As part of the commitment to keep Canton a safe town, the Canton Police Department has created an email for residents to report speeding, distracted or unsafe drivers.  In addition to the routine number for the Canton Police Department (860-693-0221), or for an emergency (911), residents can now email the Police Department at:

STOPSPEEDERS@TOWNOFCANTONCT.ORG

Please provide as much information as you can about the offending vehicle, such as date, time, location, direction of travel, frequency of observations, registration plate number/letters or vehicle features.

The Canton Police Department will use this information to conduct follow-up investigation and appropriate enforcement action. The email is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
