Head Swim Coach
The Head Swim Coach oversees all aspects of the Dusky Dolphins Swim Team. Maintains safety standards and practices at all times. Follows and enforces town and department policies. Ensures quality customer service to all program participants.
General Duties:
· Oversee daily operations of the Dusky Dolphins swim team
· Oversee the planning of swim meets and preparing line ups
· Assist with planning and implementing staff duties
· Operate within assigned budgets
· Supervise and evaluate all assistant swim coaches
· Prepare written reports as requested, prep rosters, and maintain documents
· Maintain superior communication with staff and parents
· Coordinate with league coaches to organize swim meets
· Ensure the safety and well being of swimmers by providing high quality risk management at all times.
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· American Red Cross CPR/First Aid Certification (provided if hired)
· Experience working with children and supervising staff in a competitive swim team environment
· At least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and transportation.
