ROOF REPAIR or REPLACEMENT PROJECT
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES
The Town of Canton invites the submission of qualifications in accordance with the conditions and terms set forth herein from qualified consulting architectural firms to provide preliminary evaluation, complete design, architectural/engineering services, permitting, bidding, and construction administration services for the replacement of portions of the roofs at Canton Intermediate School in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations. To be considered, architectural firm must have completed a minimum of five (5) Connecticut public school roof replacement projects. The firm must also be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully working with the State of Connecticut Office of School Construction Grants & Review.
This procurement shall be governed by General Statutes § 10-287. Proposals from interested firms will be reviewed by the Town and a pool of not more than three (3) of the most responsible, qualified proposers, as determined by the Town at its sole discretion, will be selected for an interview. A fixed fee proposal detailing each proposed scope of work and fees will be requested at time of submission of the RFP to the Town.
Consultants responding to this RFP must address all items in the Scope of Services to be considered having made a responsible submission.
Consultants that are interested in being considered for this project should submit a letter of interest and such other information as may demonstrate qualifications and experience in the successful completion of roof replacement projects (one original and 3 copies) to:

To be considered for this project: The Town will host a pre-bid mandatory
walk-through of the proposed project location at Canton Intermediate School, 39
Dyer Avenue Canton, Connecticut on Tuesday December 16, 2025, at 3:00 pm.
The response to this RFP must be received in the
Office of the Chief Administrative Officer no later than 2:00 PM on Tuesday
December 23, 2025.
