2/22/2026 - Parking Ban in effect Sunday @ 6pm

Due to the forecasted winter storm expected to impact our area, a town-wide parking ban affecting all town roads will be in effect beginning Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., and will remain in effect through Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 6:00 a.m.

Residents planning to park in the Town Hall lot are required to notify Police Dispatch at (860) 693-0221 and provide their vehicle license plate number along with a contact phone number.

Vehicles parked on town streets during the parking ban are subject to ticketing and towing.

Residents experiencing a significant hardship that may impact their ability to comply with the parking ban may contact the Canton Police Department for guidance by calling the routine number at (860) 693-0221.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work to keep roadways clear and ensure public safety during the storm.
