February is budget month for the Board of Selectmen. Similar to our household budgets, we scrutinize every dollar requested. The budget workshops are a time where the CAO and his department directors present their portion of the budget to the Board of Selectmen. There is an opportunity for the public to comment as well following the presentations.

Additionally, the Board of Selectmen will be hosting our “kitchen table” budget discussion on Thursday February 19th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. This is an opportunity for residents to ask questions and have them answered at the meeting unlike regular meetings where comments are received by the board with no bi-directional conversations.
