First Selectman's Corner

The Canton community joins with the city of Orlando, and our nation, in grieving the lives lost in the senseless acts of violence on June 11th. On Thursday evening, June 16th, at 7:00 pm, a Remembrance Vigil will be held at the Peace Pole, which is in the lower portion of Mills Pond Park, near the intersection of Simonds Avenue and East Hill Road. Reverend Linda Spiers of Trinity Episcopal Church and Reverend Jim Wheeler of the Collinsville Congregational Church will lead this interfaith vigil. All are welcome. Please use the parking lot at Mills Pond. I hope to see you there.
