Pool Supervisor
The Pool Supervisor is responsible for supervision of Mills Pond Pool, aquatic programs, staff, and patrons. Maintains safety standards and practices at all times. Follows and enforces town and department policies. Ensures quality customer service to all patrons and
participants.
General Duties:
• Oversee daily supervision of aquatics staff including lifeguards, WSI, swim aids and desk attendants
• Assists the Recreation Supervisor with staff scheduling and securing subs as needed.
• Oversees pool finances and prepares daily deposit reports for the Recreation Supervisor
• Ensures that safety rules and regulations are being enforced at the facility.
• Coordinate activities with public and private organizations.
• Resolves procedural, operational and other work-related problems by communicating with and responding appropriately to a demanding and diverse public in answering questions, explaining Department policies and handling complaints.
• Supervise department programs and special events as needed
• Teach swim lessons as needed
• Other duties as assigned
