WPCF Plant Operator I - III
The Town of Canton Water Pollution Control Facility is currently accepting applications for the position of Plant Operator I through Plant Operator III, depending on experience and qualifications. Duties are varied and the potential candidate will work under the general direction of the Superintendent of the Water Pollution Control Facility. This is a full time, 40 hour a week unionized position at an hourly rate of $23.94 to 32.42 depending on classification. Applicants must possess a valid Connecticut Driver’s License and at a minimum, Certification as a Class I Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator by the State of Connecticut, or has achieved a Class 1 Operator in Training designation.
