The Town of Canton is seeking candidates for the position of Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Police at the Canton Police Department. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing administrative office duties of a confidential, complex and responsible nature for the Chief of Police. The position also provides administrative services to members of the Police Department along with maintaining department files and records. 
The position is full time at 35 hours per week with an hourly pay range of $32.17 to $34.12 depending on experience and qualifications. 

An Associate’s Degree with a minimum of two (2) years of increasingly responsible work experience in an office administrative position (preferably in municipal government) or similar combination of education and experience is required.
