The Town of
Canton is seeking candidates for the position of Assessment Technician. The
Assessment Technician performs administrative and technical work assisting the
Assessor in the valuation of real and personal property and collects and
processes information to establish the Town's Grand List and related assessment
functions. The position is full time at 35 hours per week with an hourly rate
ranging from $26 to $33 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. An
Associate's degree in business administration, accounting, paralegal or some
closely related field, with two (2) years of increasingly responsible
experience in real estate valuation or appraisal work, or an equivalent
combination of education and experience is preferred. An application and job
