The development of this street is similar to that of Dunne Avenue. A dormitory building is higher on the hill, cottages at the lower end. Greek revival type houses were probably built between 1840 and 1860, the “gothic” steep pitched roofed houses at about the same time. All are located within easy walking distance of the factory.
