The upper tennis courts at Mills Pond Park are now OPEN! The lower tennis courts & basketball courts at Mills Pond Park will remain closed until further notice, due to necessary repairs.

This school building was constructed in the later part of the nineteenth century in the “stick” style to house primary grades which had been in the high school building. The capacity of congested classrooms was doubled in 1908 when a second story was added by lifting up the building and inserting a new first story below it. A distinctive tower was removed in 1995.
