Constructed in 1865 as a storehouse for plows, this slate roofed building has two stories and a basement. In 1925 it was made into a recreation hall for company employees at which time the verandas were added on the north side and the fireplace and field stone chimney constructed. The recreation hall included six bowling alleys, a card and lounging room, a lunch and cigar counter, a reading room, women’s parlor, and a rifle range 75 feet long with four targets.
