2/11/2025 - 250th Anniversary ~ Declaration of Independence celebration
2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, as well as the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Collins Company and the 220th anniversary of the incorporation of the Town of Canton.  The Board of Selectmen has established a committee to plan and oversee events celebrating these milestones.

If you are interested in being involved in this committee, you are invited to an organizational meeting on Thursday, February 20 at 7:00pm in Room E of the Canton Community Center.  Come prepared to brainstorm ways to celebrate these milestone anniversaries.

If you have any questions, or if you would like to be involved but are unable to attend the meeting, please email Library Director Sarah McCusker at smccusker@townofcantonct.org.
