The Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 7:00pm in Room F at the Canton Community Center, 40 Dyer Avenue, Canton, Connecticut. The meetings will be a hybrid format in that people will be able to view and participate in the public hearing remotely or in-person at the Canton Community Center.
The purpose of the public hearings will be to take comments on the following:
1) Shall the Town of Canton enter into a long-term agreement with Canton Hydro, LLC to set the annual rate of Municipal Taxes that Canton Hydro, LLC shall pay to the Town of Canton for the hydro facility located in Collinsville on the Farmington River. The proposed Agreement for Municipal Tax Payments can be viewed on the Town’s web site at www.townofcantonct.org.
