Due to the inclement winter weather, Town offices are closed to in-person visits Thursday, December 17th. Our Town staff will be working remotely during the day and can be reached with either an email or phone voice message. Individual staff contact info can be found at www.townofcantonct.org/staff.
In addition, the Transfer Station and Library will be closed Dec 17th.
An on-street parking ban is in effect on all town streets until Dec 18th at 7am. Even if you have an exemption for overnight parking, you will not be allowed to park overnight on the street. Any cars parked on the streets during the parking ban may be ticketed and towed. Residents may park in the Town Hall parking lot during the parking ban. Residents using the lot are required to notify the police dispatcher ar 860-693-0221 and supply their marker plate and contact information.
