There's nothing as wonderful as this tradition to start off the holiday! Hike into a beautiful field, choose the perfect tree, and cut it down to take home.
But before you go, stay and warm up with hot cocoa and cookies. Or stay longer and hike the property!
There will be dozens of spruces and firs to choose from, from $25 to $35, and pine green bundles for $5.
Volunteers will help cut your tree and lift it onto your car. Please bring rope to assist with tying.
Directions: take Wright Road from Route 179 (Cherry Brook Road). Turn left from Wright Road onto Doyle Road and continue for one-half mile. The last portion is unpaved. There is ample parking near the farm's barn.
