This year Eversource will be replacing transmission structures on the transmission line that runs through Canton and Simsbury. Work began in June and is scheduled to continue until the end of 2017. The work hours will be Monday - Sunday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. In Canton, they will be replacing 13 existing wood structures with 13 new steel structures that are of similar height. This work will take place in the right-of-way off of Morgan Rd, East Mountain Rd, and North Mountain Rd.  Click here for more info.
