The Friends of the Canton Public Library will hold their annual Fall Book Sale on Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11 at the Library/Community Center on 40 Dyer Ave.

The community has responded to the call for good, used books in a big way and thousands of books have been donated for the sale. All summer the Friends have been busy sorting the books, nonfiction by topic and alphabetically by author for fiction. There is a large inventory of the popular trade books. DVDs, CDs and audiobooks are also featured in the sale. There will be one room exclusively for children's books, all sorted by age appropriateness or reading level.

The sale kicks off on Saturday, September 10 with an "Early Buyer's Sale" from 8:00 am to 9:30 am ($10). The regular sale is 10:00 am to 3:00 pm with free admission and ample parking for all. A bake sale featuring home baked items will also be held during the Saturday sale.

On Sunday, September 11 the popular "Bag Sale" will be held from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm ($8).

Large bags will be provided.

This is a wonderful time to pick up some great books at bargain prices. All proceeds help the Friends of the Canton Public Library to provide resources and support programs for the library.
