24th ANNUAL LOBSTER LOOP 5K ROAD RACE and WALK TO BE HELD SUNDAY, AUGUST 23, 2015 IN CANTON

Improve your health, enjoy the company of friends and neighbors, all while helping students get a richer learning experience!  The 24th annual Lobster Loop 5k road race and non-competitive health walk will be held on the Canton Town Green, at the corner of Route 44 and Dowd Avenue on:

Registration will open at 7:30 am; the race will start at 8:30 am sharp.

This event is hosted by the Canton Middle School PTO and all fund raising proceeds will benefit technology updates for the Middle School. Especially now, as states are cutting budgets, the Canton PTO fills in gaps for students that aren’t available through any other source.

The traditional Gold, Silver & Bronze medals for 18 categories will be awarded, along with four 1st place Trophies. All participants pre-registered by August 8th (either on-line at www.Active.com or postmarked by 8/8) will receive a FREE Lobster Loop T-shirt the day of the race.

The pre-registration fee of $20 is available through August 18th either on-line at www.Active.com or through mail-in registration. Mail-in registration forms can be obtained on-line at the Canton Middle School home page. Forms are also available in the Canton Middle School office or at Canton Town Hall. Registration fee day of the race is $25.
Please note: Wheels (bikes, strollers, roller-blades, etc.) and animals (dogs, cats, birds, etc.) are not allowed.

TRAFFIC ADVISORIES FOR AUGUST 23, 2015 for the 
LOBSTER LOOP ROAD RACE: 
Dowd Avenue and Maple Avenue will be CLOSED to traffic on Sunday, August 23rd from 7:30 am to 10:30 am for the Lobster Loop Road Race.
EXPECT HEAVY TRAFFIC AND TRAFFIC DELAYS IN THESE AREAS
