Building Official
The Town of Canton is seeking candidates for the part time position of Building Official. This position is responsible for reviewing and approving permits and building code compliance. Position is 19 hours per week and pays $35.00 per hour. An Associates Degree and three years experience as a Building Official or at least five years of progressively responsible construction and trade experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Public Safety Dispatcher
The Town of Canton is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Public Safety Dispatcher. The civilian, non-sworn position provides communication and support to Police, Fire, Emergency Medical and other governmental services under the supervision of the Chief of Police. High School diploma or equivalent and one year experience in operating communication or switchboard equipment or an equivalent combination of experience and training required. Town of Canton - Director of Public Works
The Town of Canton is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Director of Public Works. This position is responsible for overseeing the town’s infrastructure, including facilities, grounds and roads. Salary $68,000 to $73,000. A Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of public works experience along with 5 years of supervisory experience or equivalent combination required.
