Finance Clerk

The Town of Canton seeks applicants for the part-time position of Finance Clerk. The primary responsibility of the position is to perform payroll functions for the Town and Board of Education. The position is 21* hours per week at $25.67 per hour. Minimum requirements are an Associates Degree and two (2) years of increasingly responsible accounting, finance and/or bookkeeping experience, or a similar combination of education and experience. Recreation Supervisor

Town of Canton seeks applicants for full time, 35 hour per week, Recreation Supervisor. This non – union position is responsible for planning, organizing and supervising a comprehensive public recreation program for the community including instructional programs, day camps, aquatics and special events. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Recreation, Parks and Recreation Administration, or a closely related field and two (2) years related experience conducting organized recreational activities and varied administrative responsib
ilities or a combination of education/experience is required. Must obtain certification for CPO/AFO within one (1) year of hire.
