The Canton Police Department shall recognize the role of a police officer as being one involving public trust. We recognize our responsibility as a public servant and shall discharge our duties in accordance with such a role. We will work in cooperation with the citizens of the town towards progressive policing, community partnership, and effective communication. We will continue to uphold the laws of the state of Connecticut and to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and well being of the citizens of Canton, making it a more pleasant and safe place to live, work ,and visit.
