OFFICE OF THE FIRST SELECTMAN

The First Selectman, an office elected separately from Board of Selectmen members, serves as the Town's Chief Executive Officer and presides over all Board of Selectmen meetings.  Responsible for the oversight of general concerns of the Town, the First Selectman serves as an ex-oficio member of all boards, commissions, agencies, committees and authorities of the Town appointed by the Board of Selectmen or elected by the Town, but without the power to vote.
