CANTON WEB BASED GIS SERVICES NOW AVAILABLE!

The Town of Canton, in conjunction with the Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG), is pleased to announce access to a web based GIS system with Canton data.  You may access the site by clicking here. 

This first phase of the project provides access to the following data layers and functionality:

  • Municipal Parcel, Land Use Data and Zoning
  • 2004 CT Orthophotos
  • Wetlands, Soils and Floodplain Data
  • 2000 Census Data
  • Printing or exporting to PDF (Acrobat) Format in 8.5x11 or 11x17
  • Parcel Selection and Address Search
  • Mailing Label Generation
  • Map Markup
  • Distance and Area Measurement

Also, CRCOG now offers PDF (Acrobat) Land Use maps of the entire Capitol Region as well as each individual municipality available for download here .
