It’s Time for the 48th Annual Collinsville Jamboree Annual Event to Benefit Town of Canton Volunteer Fire & EMS Department

The Collinsville Volunteer Fire Dept's JAMBOREE has been canceled for tonight, Friday, May 16th, due to the inclement weather.  See you all on Saturday for fun, fireworks and the parade!!

Collinsville Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. announces its 48th annual Jamboree; a family-oriented carnival offering: traditional rides; games of chance; great food; beer & wine garden; spectacular fireworks display, and back by popular demand, a Firefighter’s Parade!

Saturday, May 17, 2014
6:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Saturday, May 17th – Firefighters Parade: Begins at 6:00 pm at Canton High School: Simonds Ave to Rte. 179, to Rte. 202, to the Jamboree Field.  Fireworks Display beginning between 9pm and 930pm

Bracelet Night - $22.00; enjoy Carnival rides from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Collinsville Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. is a not for profit, independent, social and philanthropic association. CVFD is comprised of both active and retired firefighters whose main charge is to support the work of the Town of Canton Volunteer Fire & EMS Department, because they know and never forget why volunteer firefighters and EMTs do what they do.

TRAFFIC ALERT / ADVISORY

Saturday, May 17, 2014-Canton Firemen’s Parade from 6:00 PM until approximately 7:15 PM

The parade will start on Simonds Avenue at the High School and follow Route 179 to Route 202, ending at Powder Mill Road, near the fair grounds. Portions of Simonds Ave., Dyer Ave., Route 179, Town Bridge Rd., Route 44, and Route 202 will be closed to allow the parade to pass through.

Please plan accordingly and take an alternate route if you are required to travel in this area during this time period. Attendees are requested to refrain from using parking lots of businesses not associated with the events.
