The tax office mailed this year's tax bills out on Monday, June 24th. These bills have a due date of July 1st and you have up and including August 1st to pay without a penalty. If you have not received your bill by July 4th, please contact the office. REAL ESTATE :
Reminder: NO ADDITIONAL BILL WILL BE SENT FOR THE SECOND INSTALLMENT. The stub to pay your January taxes is included with this bill. If your taxes are paid by your lender, and you have received your bill, mail it to your mortgage company immediately. If you have not received a bill, it has been forwarded to your mortgage holder.

MOTOR VEHICLE:
Due in full and the last day to pay without a penalty is August 1, 2013. The bill covers vehicles owned from October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013. Vehicles sold, destroyed, stolen or registered out of state may be adjusted by the Assessor upon receipt of written proof. Please send this written proof as soon as you can so we can adjust the bill prior to you paying it. If your proof is received by July 26th we will make the adjustment prior to the end of the month. DMV will not issue or renew a registration for a delinquent taxpayer until that taxpayers taxes are paid in full.
