1/26/2013 - *Moonlight Hike and Chili Dinner Jan 26th

Enjoy a Magical Evening under a Full Moon: Canton Land Trust’s 10th Annual Moonlight Hike and Chili Dinner is Jan. 26th

The Canton Land Conservation Trust welcomes all ages to its 10th Annual Moonlight Hike and chili dinner Sat. Jan. 26.

Hikers will begin between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. at the Breezy Hill Farm Preserve (at the corner of Breezy Hill and Indian Hill Roads) and end with a luminary-lined trail leading the way to a festive gathering and a hot meal.

There is no charge, although donations to the Land Trust will be greatly appreciated. The Land Trust will provide chili and hot cocoa, and hikers are encouraged to bring water and – if they wish – side dishes or desserts to share.

The trail will be packed down, but winter footwear is suggested. The Land Trust asks that you leave your dogs at home this time.

Where to begin: hikers should park along the west side of Breezy Hill Road near the intersection with Indian Hill Road. Please watch for pedestrians, as the road will be dark.

See www.cantonlandtrust.org for details.
