4/28/2020 - Feeding our Community

Dine in CT has offered to help feed our Canton Families! They want to first focus on feeding the children of our community as well as the Seniors of our town, as long as they are able. Dine in CT may even be able to offer a Birthday cake on your son/daughter’s special day! Their valiant efforts are dependent upon donations and funding. Dine in CT is a locally owned/operated Connecticut based business & has been here for 8 years. They offer that “home-town feel” and level of service that sets them apart from the rest. They personally vet their delivery personnel/drivers; they use safe practices and offer “no contact” food delivery. Dine in CT works with over 200 businesses that provide food to our community. Senior & Social Services is working with them to facilitate this amazing service. If your family could benefit or you know of a local family that may be in need, please reach out directly to Jessica DeMeo, Director of Senior & Social Services at: Jdemeo@townofcantonct.org to be referred to Dine in CT for further assistance.

In addition, LaSalle Market is planning to donate another 40 “May Day Meals”, this Friday May 1st, at 12-Noon to our Sensational Seniors. LaSalle Market & Deli are very appreciative for the monetary donations they have received thus far. They are still accepting donations and plan to continue to help our Seniors in need during these tough times. Thank you LaSalle!
