Farmers’ Market “Checks” Information-UPDATED!!!!

The Town of Canton expects to be distributing 75 booklets of vouchers that can be used at a Farmers’ Market. Each eligible person can receive one booklet consisting of 6 checks for $3 each, for a total of $18.

Income limits are:
For singles: $1926/month or $23,107/annual.
For couples: $2607/month or $31,284 annual.

You are eligible if:
You are 60 years and older and live in senior housing,
You are under 60 but on social security disability and living in elderly housing,
You eat CRT lunches at the senior center.

Booklets will be available:
At the senior center on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11AM to 1PM,
At the food pantry on Tuesdays from 9:30AM to 11:30 AM
Packets are expected to be available after July 1.

To receive a packet, please bring proof of where you live and income- if on social security, direct deposit entry on bank statement will be adequate proof.
