4/7/2016 - Poetry Party April 7th
You're Invited: An Evening of Favorite Poems
On Thursday, April 7, from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Joan Hofmann, Canton's Poet Laureate, is throwing a Poetry Party at Canton Town Hall! An Evening of Favorite Poems is sponsored by the Town of Canton in celebration of National Poetry Month. Come and bring along a copy of your favorite poem. Too shy to read? Others will read it aloud for you. What's a favorite poem?-- not too long, not written by you; can be old, new or new to you, and it doesn't need to rhyme. All are welcome, lovers of poetry and those who wish to learn to appreciate it.
The program is free and includes light refreshments. Canton Town Hall is located at 4 Market Street in Collinsville. For information please call (860) 693-5800, email
